This exquisite tote bag from our Folkglory collection is inspired by the traditional Qiladed Ghazzeh (Gaza Necklace) design. It features a chest panel that is an exact replica of the embroidery on a Palestinian woman’s village dress from Beit Lahia, Gaza area, circa 1925.
The original design is a beautiful example of silk thread embroidery on Majdalawi cotton/silk fabric and is part of the Sa’die Tell Collection in Jordan.
