Vahiné offers you Agar-agar powder to bring hold and fondant to all your desserts (creams, mousses, jellies, panna cottas, sorbets, ice creams...) and gives you all the secrets of its use in pastry . Colorless and odorless, this 100% plant-based gelling agent is extracted from seaweed and is an excellent alternative to conventional food gelatin. In addition to being naturally rich in fibre, it can help you reduce the caloric value of your desserts: less sugar, less butter. Packaged in France. Dosage: 1 sachet of 2g for 1/2L of preparation for creams, jellies and mousses. The gelling power of a 2g sachet of Agar-agar corresponds to that of a 6g sachet or 3 sheets of Vahiné gelatin .
Instructions for use:
1 - Dilute the contents of the sachet in 5 cl of cold preparation or disperse it in sugar.
2 - Whisk in the rest of the preparation. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring.
Gelling agent: agar-agar (E406).
Store away from heat, light and humidity.
